We had a wonderful date night at Kando Restaurant tonight. It was the restaurant's first night open to the public. The food was excellent! We ordered vegan, vegetarian, meat and fish dishes. The sushi in particular was beautifully and artistically presented. The staff are very nice. The restaurant is very large and open with a clean and very neutral design. It feels very comfortable. They also have outdoor dining in the back garden. They had a great selection of cocktails, non-alcoholic cocktails, wine, beer, sake, tea, and traditional Vietnamese drinks and smoothies. We had baked bananas with peanuts, honey and mochi for dessert, which was also delicious. Some of the dishes came out in a strange order (dessert before the final savory dishes), but that is likely due to it being day one of their opening. Right now they are cash only, but I think that will change in time. Conveniently, there is a Sparkasse bank immediately next door. We had a wonderful time! Can't wait to go back or order takeout. Essen war super lecker, Service etwas unemotional (unfreundlich nicht unbedingt, aber lächeln ging scheinbar an dem Abend nicht), Ambiente auch nett. Trotz großem Andrang konnte man sich gut unterhalten und es war nicht zu laut. Die Wartezeit war auch sehr angemessen. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder. (:
